Spring 2019 marked a monumental milestone in the life of RRS. Our team celebrated our 15th Anniversary. As we pass mile-marker 15 on our continuing journey to serve healthcare organizations with unsurpassed insurance revenue recovery and resolution services, we pause to look back, recognize today’s accomplishments, and lean forward with high expectation. We’re #OneTeam providing access to revenue by focusing on small details that can make a BIG difference.
A Look Back: Our Founding
Receivable Recovery Solutions (RRS) started on the advice of a customer Mary K Deitz was working for at the time. She performed system consulting and report-writing services for her vendors. Her customer experienced frustration in two areas. First, the number of hours vendors required of staff time to write and run reports seemed excessive. Second, the alternative of hiring outside consultants to prepare reports was too expensive. Mary K said, “She thought with my systems background, I could build a business on making the collection of cash for hospitals easier on staff.” Mary K took the advice, developed the foundation for quality revenue-generating services, and led the way for continuing success. She noted, “Here we are…15 years later.”
Refresh Accomplished: The Present
Our mantra at RRS has always been “access to revenue,” and that phrase was instilled through in-house training. As our Anniversary approached, we embarked on refreshing the RRS brand established at our founding. Mary K reflected, “I wanted new marketing material that our business development/sales team could use at seminars and on correspondence with customers. I wanted to make it universal, fresh, and simple.” She placed the rebranding initiative squarely in the capable hands of our business development and marketing consultant Bappa Choudhury. Basing the RRS brand on our longtime key phrase “access to revenue” was Bappa’s brainchild. The simple fact is, for healthcare entities, RRS is their Access to Revenue.
Driving the refreshed brand forward, Bappa aligned “access to revenue,” with a crucial relatable concept: “small is BIG.” A focus on small details can yield BIG results has multiple meanings. He said, “We are a small company, dedicated to working small balance A/R claims. Small balances have a BIG impact on our customers’ bottom line.” With Bappa’s direction, the design team incorporated the use of glasses imagery to bring the “small details” into focus. Our website and recently released marketing material illustrate our refreshed brand.
#OneTeam Forward: Our Future
RRS continues to grow and support each member of our unified #OneTeam to best serve our customers. When asked what she sees as RRS leans into future endeavors, Mary K said, “It’s my intention to see our company become the first name that comes to mind when a health system, hospital or large physician practice considers outsourcing A/R revenue resolution services. We have built a strong reputation for success, and we will build upon the foundation we established providing unsurpassed service to our customers.”
15th Anniversary: And, the Celebration Continues
Earlier this year, our leadership team had an opportunity to celebrate our Anniversary by taking in a Philadelphia 76ers game with industry leaders and customers. As summer heats up, we’re planning a company-wide gathering to cap our celebration.
